As you probably know, our CEO David White is a strong advocate for setting goals — both professionally and personally. Two years ago he laid out five year goals for every division in the company. As we conclude 2016 he wanted to dedicate a special episode of the podcast to evaluate where we stand in our progress toward those goals. In some cases we're right on track, while in other cases we may need to reevaluate the goals in light of new circumstances.

In a previous episode, CEO David White said that he never wanted to own a Third Party Administrator (TPA). Today MWG owns three, and they are a major driving force in the growth of the company. In this episode we'll hear from Chief Administrative Officer Jason Peets about the humble origins of MWG Administrators — and about how the division has grown into a major player in the insurance industry nationwide. MWG Administrators is the largest division of Morgan White Group (in terms of number of employees), but they are often working "behind the scenes." However, what they do directly impacts every employee at MWG, so it's important for us all to be aware of the work they're doing.

In this episode CEO David White joins us to discuss some of the local ministries we partner with. He will discuss our involvement with Christians in Action, We Will Go Ministries, and everyone's favorite: delivering gifts to school children at Camden Elementary. At the end of the last episode David left us with a bit of a cliffhanger. He and Johnny had sold the company to Mark Rattner and had just founded AmFirst Insurance Company. Then, much to David's surprise, Mark sold the company to Houston Casualty, a huge publicly-traded company. Now we'll hear how God turned this potentionally bad situation into a huge blessing. It's also the point in the story where Rick Eaton joined the company as CFO.

Episode 11: MWG Employer Services

This episode's guest is Joel Jasper, who wears a few different hats for our company. He is division manager for MWG Employer Services and MWG Direct, and he is also the Compliance Officer for Morgan White Group.

In this episode he discusses the services offered by both divisions and describes the type of clients they are looking for (you might know someone who needs their services!). He also gives an overview of how changes in technology, new insurance laws, and the rapid growth of our company impacts his role as Compliance Officer.
